This week I had the opportunity to meet 2 incredible artists! Sony Recording artist Elle Varner and Atlantic Recording Artist B.O.B. were both in town on promotional tour. Elle Varner gave us a great acoustic performance complete with a guitar player and a human beat boxer. AWESOME! She’s a trained jazz vocalist that attended NYU. I have a great deal of respect for people who study vocal jazz. Bilal is another artist you may be familiar with who has done so. I believe that is the making of a GREAT music career.

B.O.B came the very next day for a huge listening party that brought out the likes of Chingy, Basement Beats, and Hakeem the Dream. Everyone came out to show love and check out some new music from the multi-talented, southern, singer, rapper, songwriter. He was laid back and swagged out (his grill damn near blinded me!). He reminded me a lot of his label boss T.I. During our chat he told me that T.I.P actually helped him a lot on his new album which drops in March of 2012.
