A.I.’s Wife Files For Divorce

Only a week after Allen Iverson announced that he would be taking a break from basketball to take care of his sick daughter, his wife Tawanna Iverson filed for a divorce. She was quoted Tuesday saying that their 8 1/2 year long marriage was “irretrievably broken”. Tawanna also filed for permanent custody of the 5 children they have together, alimony, and child support.
This is really sad. I was rooting for them to work. It’s already hard enough for you to be in the spotlight and have a successful relationship let alone make a marriage work for 8 1/2 years. I wish A.I. and Tawanna the best and pray that their daughter gets well soon.
